Selected in Italy for premium closed-tank sparkling wine. Showcases intense
fruity and floral aromas and combines acidity and sweetness while reducing
vegetal and bitter notes.
• Good alcohol tolerance (15%), medium kinetics and medium nitrogen requirements.
• Fast kinetics, low nitrogen requirements and good alcohol tolerance (15%).
• High production of glycerol adds roundness and balance; low adsorption of colored pigments
allows for intense color.
• Production of fruity ethyl esters brings complexity to the wine.
• Saccharomyces cerevisiae.
Application: Well-suited for short-aging wines including Mediterranean
varieties (Syrah, Mourvèdre, etc.) and other spicy varieties (Zinfandel).
